Intercultural Workshop 2018/19: “Communication across cultures”

Within the intercultural mentoring program, mentors and mentees were able to participate in one of two intercultural training workshops. Both workshops offered the opportunity to improve oneself regarding the intercultural competences, intensively working on the topic “Communication across cultures: How do our values influence the way we communicate with others”. Due to their active and invaluable participation during the workshop the participants gained a deeper knowledge about the cultural influence on our values, and a better understanding of the importance of good relationships as well as direct and indirect communication. There was also time for reflection of own intercultural experiences and of course experiences made within the intercultural mentoring program which was highly appreciated by all participants.
