Registration as a mentor

As a mentor you support new international students from all over the world with your experiences as a student.

The admission form offers the possibility to register as a mentor within the intercultural mentoring program offered by the Student Mentoring Competence Network. Your personal data will be received, read and saved by the staff of the Student Mentoring Competence Network. The Student Mentoring Competence Network collects your data and stores it in an Excel database. Your name and email address are necessary to contact you. Your data concerning your nationality and your studies at the University of Freiburg are needed to simplify and perfect our matching between mentors and mentees. Experiences concerning mentoring and the statement of motivation are collected for statistical reasons and to consistently improve the program. All data collected by the Student Mentoring Competence Network will only be used within the scope of the program you are participating in and not be shared with third parties without your consent.
